Maplewood Tavern Website design

This website is one of my current ongoing projects as I work with my clients. Introducing the Maplewood Tavern website design, which pays homage to the historic 100-year-old tavern in our local town. The website is designed to capture the tavern's charm and appeal to the population in the area, while also showcasing the exciting vibe of the dance floor. With a user-friendly layout, the website is sure to bring the true love of the tavern to life for visitors.

*Note I did not design the logo Maplewood had its logo done in advance of my services.

Goal-
To design a website for the historic 100-year-old Maplewood Tavern that captures its charm and appeals to the local population. The website aims to showcase the tavern’s inviting atmosphere and vibrant dance floor, while providing a user-friendly layout that enhances visitor engagement and reflects the true spirit of the establishment.

Design Process-
Initial Consultation-
Met with the Maplewood Tavern owners to understand their vision, goals, and target audience for the website.

Gathered information on the tavern’s history, key features, and unique selling points to highlight on the website.

Research and Planning-
Conducted research on the history of Maplewood Tavern and similar historic taverns to draw inspiration for the website design.

Analyzed the needs and preferences of the local population to ensure the design would resonate with them.

Developed a site map and wireframes to outline the structure and navigation of the website.

Content Strategy-
Collaborated with the Maplewood Tavern team to develop engaging and informative content that reflects the tavern's history and lively atmosphere.

Organized content into sections that are easy to navigate, including a history section, menu, events calendar, and contact information.

Design and Development-
Created multiple design concepts that reflect the tavern’s historic charm and vibrant dance floor atmosphere.

Incorporated the existing Maplewood Tavern logo and ensured that the color scheme and typography complemented the brand identity.
